![]() Another Eden begins with a town's mayor finding the main character, Aldo, and his infant sister, Feinne, in the forest. Visually, this adventure is stunning, which keeps players coming back chapter after chapter. But the game isn't too difficult to figure out, and when new elements pop up after that, they'll see a written description of them. Oddly, players don't see detailed instructions about the game controls or other aspects until they've played for a bit, which may cause some initial confusion. ![]() The app also doesn't bombard you with requests to purchase anything. Although players can buy Chronos Stones, which let you recruit new allies, for $0.99 to $79.99, depending on the amount, it's not required to play. Players also enter a bar where liquor is shown on shelves and interact with the bartender, although drinking isn't a focus in the game. ![]() Death is sometimes suggested, though, in situations such as a monster telling a villager he won't feel any more pain, then causing the person to fade away until he can't be seen. Players will fight periodic battles against monsters, not people, and blood isn't shown. Parents need to know that Another Eden is a role-playing game for iOS and Android devices.
